Will Lankshear and Mikey Moore will be out to impress Tottenham Hotspur boss Roberto De Zerbi this summer.

The duo impressed during their respective loan spells in the UK last season and are set to call in for duty at Hotspur Way soon.

Moore spent time with Rangers in Scotland, where he emerged as a fan favourite at Ibrox, despite issues elsewhere in the club throughout the campaign.

Lankshear, on the other hand, was with Oxford United in the Championship, and though he couldn't help prevent the U's from relegation, he still managed to bag 11 goals in 44 games.

Spurs' academy graduate duo have already each been linked with another move away from N17, with talk of permanent deals.

However, it's understood that the pair will have a chance to impress De Zerbi during pre-season this summer.

De Zerbi is set to give most players a chance to impress him this pre-season, as a decision on Moore in particular will be delayed.

The 18-year-old padded 10 goal involvements in 33 league matches for Rangers last season, boasting an impressive dribble per 90 record of 2.12.

Moore finished the Scottish Premiership season with multiple assists to his name, and it's no surprise to see why, especially given the fact that he created 1.66 chances per match.

Lankshear scored a whopping 24.4 per cent of Oxford's goals in the Championship last season, and hit his expected goals tally of 11.0 bag on the dot.

The 21-year-old still managed to get 1.81 shots off per match, despite Oxford having the sixth-worst xG tally in the division at 52.3.

The duo have been seen training together before Tottenham's pre-season officially starts in the second week of July.

The pair can be seen working with Scott Chickelday, former Tottenham academy coach, as they both look sharp and ready to impress De Zerbi.

With the Lilywhites set for an action-packed pre-season, Lankshear and Moore have a good chance of being able to make their mark.

How Lankshear and Moore could break into Tottenham squad

Tottenham are splashing the cash right now, but they've yet to really bolster their frontline.

The Lilywhites have a handful of pre-season games to look forward to, which gives Moore and Lankshear an added chance of being able to impress De Zerbi.

Tottenham only scored 48 times in the Premier League last season, as they lacked goals from key areas in attack.

Lankshear and Moore had a combined 25 goal involvements last season, and all it may take is for them to hit the ground running in pre-season.

Time will tell, but there are plenty of reasons why the academy graduates are the two youngsters with the best chance of a breakthrough into the first team this summer.
