Guglielmo Vicario's whereabouts revealed as Tottenham exit looks closer than ever
Guglielmo Vicario is set to part ways with Tottenham Hotspur this summer, with multiple Serie A sides interested.
The Italian looks to have played his final game for the Lilywhites, with the club already making progress with their goalkeeping department objectives.
Spurs announced the signing of Burnley's shot-stopper Martin Dubravka, who will act as a reserve keeper next season under Roberto De Zerbi
Following the arrival of the Slovakian, Tottenham are also set to hand Antonin Kinsky a new deal in N17.
The Lilywhites could still be in the hunt for a new number one, but that may all hinge on what happens with Vicario.
Guglielmo Vicario roughly 400 miles away from Italy in latest social media post
Napoli are said to be keen on signing Vicario, as are Juventus, with Inter Milan having interest reported in recent months.
Tottenham are said to value the 29-year-old at £20million, which is around £3m more than the initial fee they paid for the ex-Empoli man back in 2023.
It seems likely that the Italian will end up back in his home country for next season.
The former Europa League winner is currently situated around 400 miles away from Italy after revealing his own whereabouts on Instagram this Thursday.
As seen in the image above, Vicario appears to be in Ibiza, which is roughly between 350 to 400 miles away from Sardinia in Italy.
The goalkeeper appears to be working out at a public gym, possibly ahead of an expected transfer move this summer.
Vicario's key weakness the reason for Tottenham downfall
Vicario had a poor season last campaign like many other Spurs players, but one key weakness remained.
The keeper always struggled with commanding his area, especially from set-piece scenarios, and that was no different once again last season.
The 6,4" star made multiple mistakes from corners and free kicks when trying to claim crosses, failing to make the right choice most of the time.
Perhaps his injury came at a good time for the Lilywhites, as Kinsky stepped in and performed admirably at an important stage of the season.
That may be why the Czech Republic star is staying in N17, and Vicario is not.
