Tottenham Hotspur look set to part ways with Guglielmo Vicario this summer and may earn a profit in doing so.

Spurs have had their fair share of goalkeeping concerns ever since the exit of Hugo Lloris, though even he started to show signs of weakness towards the end.

Throughout that period, Vicario has been the most prominent goalkeeper, with the Italian often coming in for criticism.

Between he and Antonin Kinsky, the North Londoners have lacked stability between the sticks, with Vicario linked with an exit as result.

Juventus have emerged as one of several potential escape routes for the goalkeeper.

However, a move to Turin is only likely under one condition.

How likely is Guglielmo Vicario to leave Tottenham?

This summer, very likely. Though where he ends up remains to be seen.

Napoli are keen on a deal, as are Juventus, though the latter are only likely to pursue a transfer if they fail in their attempt to land the signing of Emi Martinez.

A report from Tuttosport claims that Vicario is the "most likely" option in that scenario.

Tottenham value him around £20million, which is roughly £3m more than the initial fee they paid to sign him back in 2023.

Who could be Tottenham's number one next season?

With Vicario and Kinsky both potentially on their way out, it's clear that it is an area in which Tottenham need to recruit.

And amid links to Man City's James Trafford, among several other goalkeepers, they seem aware of that.

Trafford would likely be the ideal replacement for Vicario given his age and profile, though Man City's asking price may prove to be too high for the North Londoners.

City are believed to value the England goalkeeper at around £45m, which would be more than double what Spurs are likely to receive for Vicario.

Spurs have agreed a deal to sign Martin Dubravka, though it's almost certain that that will be with a view to him being the backup goalkeeper for whoever arrives as their new number one.
