When Tottenham could sign Min-Jae Kim from Bayern Munich as expert reveals all
Tottenham Hotspur have set their sights on Bayern Munich defender Min-Jae Kim.
It already looks as if further reinforcements could be on the agenda in North London.
Things just haven't worked out, so far, under Roberto De Zerbi despite the big summer spend.
That has seen the backline and attackers fail to live up to expectation this campaign.
It does appear that other targets are being kept in mind with the South Korean being one of those.
Kim emerged as a summer target as talks are now awaited at Bayern Munich.
Why Tottenham must wait to sign Min-Jae Kim
The Lilywhites did so much business in the summer and that included the arrival of two centre-backs.
Marcos Senesi and Jan Paul van Hecke came in and are both yet to set the world alight at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
There were clearly other options on the table with the 29-year-old being one of those after three years in the Bundesliga.
Bayern expert Christian Falk has reported via MilanNews24 that Tottenham are "evaluating" the defender.
The N17 outfit are said to have made contact over his signature in the summer, but failed to make an offer to the German giants.
The Bayern Munich journalist now understands that a deal is unlikely to be done now until the summer.
The Bavarians are now deciding whether to award Kim with a new contract, so could open talks at the end of the season.
Tosin Adarabioyo already on the ropes at Tottenham
De Zerbi clearly had the intention of adding to his centre-back options in the summer.
One of three to come in was Tosin Adarabioyo in a surprise deal with Chelsea.
The 29-year-old has only featured across five minutes so far in North London.
That lack of opportunities doesn't look likely to change too much any time soon, something which won't be helped if Kim comes in from Bayern.
It seems that the Lilywhites are still interested and could look to get a deal done in the summer.
If that happens, Adarabioyo could be packing his bags earlier than he might have expected.
