Tottenham expert reveals how Roberto De Zerbi personally halted Mikey Moore loan exit
Tottenham boss Roberto De Zerbi personally stopped Mikey Moore from going on loan to Koln.
That is the latest information from Spurs expert John Wenham, who claimed that the Lilywhites boss halted the deal.
The 19-year-old was reportedly set to join the Bundesliga outfit, and had even agreed personal terms with them.
However, the move seemed to stall with no official confirmation despite everything apparently being sorted.
Now, it has been revealed how the Italian boss is responsible for the delay, and how Moore may not leave at all.
He could still end up away from N17 for the new season, but that is not the case right now.
What did Roberto De Zerbi do to stop 's loan exit?
Wenham shared that the 47-year-old is the reason why Moore is yet to make that move official.
The Lilywhite Rose owner believes that it may well depends on incomings, as to whether he ultimately departs on a temporary basis.
Speaking exclusively to Tottenham News, he said: "As far as my information was, that the deal was all done, he was going to go last Wednesday.
"There was a plane waiting to take him to Cologne to complete that move, and then Roberto Di Zerbi made the call to say he wants Mikey to stay around.
"He then played in the friendly against Getafe on Saturday, started the game, and he may well be starting against Hoffenheim as well, so his loan exit is nowhere near as advanced as some journalists let us believe.
"It totally depends on our other business. I think he'll be in the squad tomorrow, and then we're only a week away from Brentford, unless Savinho or Cody Gakpo or someone else of that level comes through the door, I personally don't see him going out for now."
How has Moore performed in Tottenham's pre-season?
Moore featured in four of Spurs' pre-season clashes so far, failing to register a goal or assist.
His numbers with Rangers last season, seven goals and four assists show what he is capable of.
However, whether he can do that at the top level, in the Premier League, remains to be seen.
