Tottenham can succeed where Arsenal and Chelsea failed with Mikey Moore

Tottenham Hotspur already have a blueprint from Arsenal and Chelsea for Mikey Moore this summer.

The 18-year-old is coming off the back of a true breakout campaign after joining Rangers 12 months ago.

He certainly took to the Scottish Premiership like a duck to water and took home the league's Young Player of the Year award.

That wasn't a surprise after he put up 11 goal involvements across all competitions in a largely poor Ibrox outfit.

The 2007-born winger is now back in North London, but could soon be back on the road.

Moore looks set to depart on loan once again, as covered by Tottenham News, as Spurs look to learn from their nearest and dearest rivals.

That may seem like an odd choice after a breakout campaign with the Scottish giants.

It could actually be the making of the attacker as another loan move could certainly serve him well.

Moore could now be on his way to the Bundesliga as Fabrizio Romano reported on Sunday that Koln have made an offer.

Talks are now said to be at an advanced stage, with a deal potentially set to go through within days.

The attacker is open to the move and the German side are said to be "clear favourites" to land his signature temporarily.

The idea of a move to the Bundesliga has gone down well in N17, but will all hinge on whether Spurs can learn from Arsenal and Chelsea.

How Arsenal and Chelsea can help Moore at Koln

It is a rarity to see a young English talent take a step to move abroad.

Moore could become the latest name to move to the Bundesliga as a Premier League loanee.

He won't be the first to do that as Chelsea have utilised that avenue with both Callum Hudson-Odoi and Carney Chukwuemeka over the years.

They joined Bayer Leverkusen and Borussia Dortmund respectively, with the latter making that move permanent last summer.

The same avenue has been taken up by Arsenal as Reiss Nelson joined Hoffenheim in the summer of 2018.

None of these moves have truly worked out for any party, giving Moore a perfect chance to learn from these failings.

Tottenham need to examine these cases and understand what went wrong before giving their teenage star a plan that can help him thrive away from N17.
