Three players who could leave Tottenham after Pape Matar Sarr as loan exit accelerates

Tottenham Hotspur appear likely to part ways with Pape Matar Sarr before the transfer window's deadline.

The midfielder does not appear to be a part of Roberto De Zerbi's plans, and did not play for the Lilywhites in pre-season.

The 23-year-old is currently sidelined with reported physical discomfort, but his issue is not expected to hold him back from a departure in the coming days.

Sarr has been linked with a move to Turkish giants Galatasaray, with some reports going as far as to say the player has agreed personal terms for the move.

He is one of several players who could leave on loan or permanently in the coming days, as De Zerbi looks to trim his squad before final registration on 2 September.

However, Sarr now looks more likely for a loan exit, with a move back to France on the cards.

Sarr has been linked with a Tottenham exit this summer, and only racked up 69 minutes in total for De Zerbi last season.

None of which were starts, as he mainly came on with 20 minutes to go in some games, sometimes even less in others.

In an update on X this Wednesday, Fabrizio Romano has revealed that Monaco have made an approach to sign Sarr on loan.

The French side have reached out to his camp about the move, with discussions about his salary and the project having taken place.

With Sarr likely to leave on loan, he could be followed Souza, who has been heavily linked with an N17 departure having only joined earlier in the year.

The full-back is reportedly at an advanced stage over a move to Porto, with a fee in the region of £17million.

Dane Scarlett also appears surplus to De Zerbi's requirements, a Hotspur Way graduate who has been unable to get his career going,

But a player who started in the 3-0 loss to Brentford on Spurs' opening Premier League game also looks like to leave.

According to the Daily Record, Mikey Moore is close to joining Bundesliga side Koln on loan.

The teenager started against Brentford, with De Zerbi left impressed by his performances during pre-season.

But there are suggestions that the winger will play in Tottenham's Carabao Cup game against Charlton Athletic on Wednesday, which may be a crucial crossroads for the player.

If he plays well, De Zerbi could put his foot in the door of a move to Koln, with his blessing the only thing stopping a transfer as of now.
