Manchester City winger Savinho joining Tottenham is inevitable.
That is the verdict from Lilywhites expert John Wenham, following the latest on the N17 outfit's pursuit of the Brazilian.
Spurs have had the 22-year-old on their radar for a long time, and they may finally have a chance to sign him.
Tottenham News has already covered the North London outfit's long-standing interest which has stretched back for two summers.
Now, it appears that is set to heat up, with the Etihad Stadium side open to an exit.
Roberto De Zerbi's side may finally get their man.
Why does Tottenham signing Savinho seem like a foregone conclusion?
Wenham believes that Savinho will be a Tottenham player come the end of the window, after Fabrizio Romano reported they are confident of striking a deal.
That is due to the constant speculation and the fact that nobody else has come in for him, although it does leave him with a level of fear over one thing, his lack of contributions.
Speaking exclusively to Tottenham News, he said: "I can only see it happening because it's been talked about so much for so long going back to last summer.
"I'm slightly concerned that nobody else is seemingly interested in him. It's just been made clear from the outset that it's Tottenham, Tottenham, Tottenham.
"I'm worried that he doesn't contribute too many goals but maybe his time at Tottenham will flourish and they've seen something in him that will continue to be linked with him for two summer transfer windows now.
"I think that is a deal that will end up happening and we'll see Savinho at Tottenham."
Are Tottenham fans right to be worried about Savinho signing?
The young winger has managed two goals and 12 assists in 53 Premier League games.
On the face of it, that is not too bad, but his 2025-26 numbers are not very encouraging.
He notched just one goal and two assists in 24 matches for the Citizens as they fell short of winning the league.
Spurs already have plenty of wingers who can't contribute regularly, like Wilson Odobert and Mathys Tel, they do not need to add another one.
Supporters will rightfully be concerned if Wenham's prediction comes true, and would probably rather Mikey Moore be given a chance in the side.
