Roberto De Zerbi pushes ENIC to put together £100m Tottenham transfer package with £230,000-a-week terms agreed

Roberto De Zerbi is continuing to mould Tottenham Hotspur in his image this summer.

After he steered the Lilywhites to safety last season, the Italian has been handed the reins in the transfer market.

Newcastle have been holding out for £100million, despite the fact that the Italian has already agreed personal terms worth £230,000 per week.

De Zerbi was key in identifying Tonali as a target, and he is said to be pushing for the club to put together the £100m package.

As a result, the ball could be left firmly in Newcastle's court, with Tottenham coughing up the required funds.

Having let themselves down in the transfer market on many occasions, Spurs are seemingly determined to avoid that this summer.
