Ange Postecoglou: Odds slashed for ex-Tottenham boss to make managerial return
Ange Postecoglou could be back in English management less than 12 months after his exit from Tottenham Hotspur.
Many thought that Postecoglou was the issue at Spurs, and indeed the main cause of the downfall, though the past campaign has proven otherwise.
After winning the Europa League under the former Celtic manager, Tottenham have fallen off even further, with Roberto De Zerbi the man left to pick up the pieces.
The Italian has 90 minutes to keep the Lilywhites in the Premier League ahead of Sunday’s clash with Everton.
But should that fail, De Zerbi may come face-to-face with Postecoglou in the Championship with odds slashed on his next job.

Which club could Ange Postecoglou join?
Postecoglou has been mooted for several jobs since he departed North London, and that even includes the Tottenham job after Thomas Frank was sacked.
However, he is now in contention for the Burnley job, and has been since former Tottenham midfielder Scott Parker faced the sack.
Mike Jackson took interim charge of the Calrets, though it was made clear that it was just a temporary move, with a permanent boss to be hired this summer.
Major bookmakers priced the Australian at 33/1 to be the next manager at Turf Moor, though those odds have since fallen to 10/1.

Steven Gerrard is the current favourite with odds of 5/2, with Frank and Robbie Keane also among the names in the running from a Tottenham persuasion.
What did Postecoglou say about his Tottenham exit?
Domestically, Spurs were dreadful under Postecoglou.
However, their Europa League success certainly took priority over the nightmare that ensued in the Premier League that campaign.
Postecoglou has alluded to that in interviews since his departure, where he revealed that he knew his sacking was coming far before it actually did.
“I knew I was gone probably around late January or early February,” he said via The Overlap back in February.
“You get a sense of that with the conversations you have. No one is talking to me about the transfer window or pre-season, so you kind of know, and that was fine.
“I didn’t want to get distracted, I was so laser-focused [on winning the Europa League.] What a unique opportunity to win a European trophy at a club that hasn’t had success for a long time.”
