Tottenham player ratings vs Charlton: Mikey Moore inspired but teammate feels the pressure
Tottenham Hotspur recorded a 5-1 win over Charlton Athletic in the second round of the Carabao Cup.
Roberto De Zerbi named a strong starting XI for the visit of the Addicks, as Spurs looked to put Brentford behind them.
That's precisely what they did, with Mikey Moore and Dominic Solanke finding the net in quick succession before half-time, with Kevin Danso adding the third on 67 minutes.
Savio then enjoyed a debut cameo to remember, scoring twice off the bench late on to announce himself to the Spurs faithful in some style.
Spurs can now go into a home game with Newcastle United this Saturday full of confidence and ready to kickstart their league campaign.

Mikey Moore should shut down any idea of Tottenham transfer after Charlton
Talk of a loan move away from Tottenham for Moore has been rife in recent days, with a potential switch to Germany being touted.
Still only 19-years old, the young winger shined on loan with Rangers last season, and is clearly a player who many inside Tottenham feel has a first-team future here.
The future may well be now though, as proven by the England youth international's superb display against Charlton.
Moore opened the scoring against the Addicks, and what a strike it was, cutting in from the right before lashing home a powerful left-footed effort from 18 yards.
He then turned provider for Solanke's goal, as he got a slight touch on a bouncing ball that knocked into the Spurs' strikers path, who swept the ball home on the penalty spot.
As per FotMob, he took the most touches in the opposition box (12) and completed the most dribbles (three) of any player on the pitch.
He also attempted five crosses, won seven ground duels, attempted seven dribbles, made two tackles, four recoveries and won two fouls.
With De Zerbi currently light for options down the right due to injuries, Tottenham would surely be crazy to send him anywhere before the 1 September deadline.
He may frustrate at times with some wasteful moments in attack, but he's a breath of fresh air and a full-back's nightmare with his relentless energy and drive.
But, whilst Moore was dazzling down the right, his comrade on the opposite flank looked like a player who knows his job is on the line.
Savio won't be concerned about Mathys Tel competition on Charlton evidence
Officially signing for Tottenham on Tuesday, £75million Savio isn't coming to North London to sit on the Lilywhites bench, and certainly not after his debut cameo.
Despite being registered in time to start against Charlton, De Zerbi instead opted to place him on the bench, and giving the starting nod to Mathys Tel instead.
The 21-year-old Frenchman has largely flattered to deceive during his Tottenham career so far, and that continued on Wednesday night.
Knowing he's got major competition for his left wing spot now, Tel endured a very wasteful night in attack.
He created just two chances, put two shots off target and completed only one of his six dribble attempts successfully.
On top of that, he only delivered one accurate cross, made zero tackles, won two of his eight ground duels and lost his only aerial duel.
With Savio watching on before replacing Solanke in the second half, the Brazilian can't have been overly concerned with what he saw from a competition standpoint.
Tel did grow into the second half, but he largely remained wasteful in what was a prime chance to send Savio a message that he won't give up his place easily.
He was eventually replaced by Luca Williams-Barnett on 78 minutes, in what as a frustrating night for him.
