The Spaniard lifted his third LaLiga title before jetting off to North America to secure World Cup glory.

He contributed to a stellar 41 goals in all competitions and will be hoping to replicate that this season.

Now, Spanish outlet El Nacional reports that Yamal wants the Tottenham defender at Barcelona.

The right-back would be willing to leave North London in January as the LaLiga side eye a full-back who can get forward and provide a threat down the right.

Yamal already has a great link with the defender as he provides him with more room to cut inside onto his favoured left foot.

The question is now about how much Spurs could demand for the 27-year-old.

What asking price have Tottenham set for Porro?

The right-back is certainly up their with the best in world football, despite featuring for a struggling Lilywhites side.

Roberto De Zerbi may be struggling to make his team click, but the Spaniard has still managed to impress.

That was clear on the international stage as he played a key role in winning the World Cup in America.

His form puts Tottenham in a great negotiating position as the above report suggests they could demand £60million to sell in January.

A deal could seemingly be done at that price, although Barcelona would have to sell before they can buy Porro.

It would be a transfer that would delight Yamal and could help him take the next step up in his performance level.
