Tottenham told to cash in on Destiny Udogie after £50m teammate claim
Tottenham should be looking for £50million to sell Djed Spence to Liverpool.
That is the verdict from Spurs expert John Wenham, after claims emerged that the Reds want the 25-year-old.
The right-back is understood to be behind Pedro Porro in his natural position in Roberto De Zerbi's mind.
He is also third-choice at left-back with Destiny Udogie and Andy Robertson ahead of him in the pecking order.
His versatility and performances at the World Cup have increased the amount of suitors for the North London ace.
Now, Andoni Iraola's side are the latest to throw their name into the hat as a potential destination.

Tottenham are understood to want £35m for Spence amid the interest from their Premier League rival and others.
However, Wenham, who owns the Lilywhite Rose account, believes that the reported fee is too low and they should demand more.
Speaking exclusively to Tottenham News, he said: “We’ve seen reports that Liverpool are interested, there has been a rumoured price tag of £35m, which has put off Italian clubs like Inter Milan and I understand Roma were also interested before they finalised Nahuel Molina.
“I would rather Tottenham pursue with Djed as a homegrown player, able to play both wings, and would rather they sold Udogie.
“I think £35m is too low, he is a £50m player in this current market as an England international, Premier League proven, I would be disappointed to see Tottenham accept a figure of that value.”
Why Tottenham could still take a lower fee for Spence exit
Spurs may take a lower fee to get him off the books, and help to balance their spending.
They have spent nearly £240m on the likes of Mateus Fernandes, Sandro Tonali and Jan Paul van Hecke, and still want to add more talent to his side.
De Zerbi is said to want new attackers to bolster his side, so selling the England ace would free up extra funds to do that, even if he has enhanced his reputation with his exploits on the international stage.
It makes sense for all parties, Spence is not first-choice on either flank, the Reds need a right-back and the Lilywhites can then purchase more players.
