Souza could agree quick-fire Tottenham exit as main priority emerges
Tottenham Hotspur could soon wave goodbye to Souza.
The Brazilian only completed a move to North London in January.
He joined from Santos as a youthful option to act as competition for Destiny Udogie.
Things didn't really work out as well as hoped for the left-back as he made just four appearances for the Lilywhites.
There is now every chance that a departure could be on the cards after just six months.
Souza has now emerged as a target away from the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium as the summer window continues.
Souza emerges as priority transfer target
The 20-year-old undoubtedly has plenty of potential, but might not get chance to showcase that.
With Andy Robertson coming in, it means that left-back spot is now pretty stacked.
That could open the door for the January signing to make his way out earlier than expected.
A quick fire exit could now be on the table as Portuguese outlet Maisfutebol reported on Monday that Porto are interested in Souza.
After winning Liga Portugal last season, the signing of a left-back has now become one of their main priorities.
The Spurs youngster is being eyed after making such little impact in N17 after his move from Santos.
How much could Tottenham sell Souza for?
Tottenham News has covered Porto's interest in Souza as a deal could soon be on the cards.
That could make sense for all parties as a move, but only if the price is right for the North Londoners.
The Lilywhites paid a reported £13million fee for his signature just six months ago, so will want to recoup as much of that if possible.
There will likely be a desire to make a profit on the Brazilian as there will be no true pressure to sell a young player who's contract doesn't expire until 2031.
Tottenham will push for as much as they can from Porto, so anything above that £13m would be a boost.
