Mikey Moore's future at Tottenham Hotspur will continue to rumble on until a definitive decision is made.

The English winger enjoyed a successful loan spell in Glasgow last season, and it would have been an ideal move for all to continue that if he is not in Roberto De Zerbi's plans.

Moore could be given pre-season to showcase his talents with many of the World Cup contingent likely to arrive later in the summer.

Rangers manager Danny Rohl has previously iterated his wish to continue working with the 18-year-old.

However, the Gers boss could be on his way out as talks with Red Bull Salzburg continue to progress.

Hearts manager Derek McInnes looks to be the favourite to takeover, and with Rohl likely leaving Ibrox, it poses a question for Tottenham over Moore.

Why Tottenham will have to think hard over Mikey Moore loan decision

If Tottenham come to the conclusion that Moore is better off with another loan, they may have to consider sending him elsewhere other than Glasgow.

While Moore turned out to be a star under Rohl, that does not mean he will have the same impact under a different manager.

Despite it looking like Rangers would be the optimal side for him to continue to progress, that is no longer the case.

Moore could very well continue to showcase his qualities under McInnes, but now there is certainly an added level of risk to another loan.

It is no longer a straight decision as to whether Moore should return to Rangers if a loan is decided, as Spurs now face a conundrum.

Additionally, perhaps a loan at a higher level is now the right move for Moore due to the exit of Rohl.

If Spurs are to take a risk over his future, then it would be better served placing him in tougher conditions.

Will Moore push for Tottenham exit?

With a transfer for Savinho in the works, there is always the possibility that Moore approaches Tottenham and makes the decision for the club.

After a season of being a prominent winger for a side playing in Europe, Moore will certainly have the taste for consistent football.

With Savinho's potential arrival threatening his minutes, he could ask for another loan to be sanctioned.

Moore has expressed that he will now "follow Rangers as a fan", but it remains to be seen if he wishes to return to Ibrox under a new manager himself.
