Mikey Moore has been quick to react as Tottenham Hotspur announced the arrival of Andy Robertson.

Moore, who has spent the last season out on loan, will be hoping to get his chance for Spurs ahead of next season.

His time in Glasgow was a successful spell, and Rangers are looking to bring him back to Ibrox.

One man who will know plenty about Scottish football is Robertson and Moore could build a relationship with him on that left-hand side.

Roberto De Zerbi will no doubt be delighted with Robertson's arrival, and Moore appears to be a fan as well.

How has Mikey Moore reacted to Andy Robertson signing?

Robertson's arrival on a free transfer is the first official signing for next season for Spurs.

The Scotsman will provide the leadership and experience that the Lilywhites so desperately need and he will be an excellent influence for the youth.

After back-to-back 17th place finishes, those qualities are desperately needed in N17.

Moore will, of course, fall into that bracket of youth and has liked the official Instagram post confirming the signing of the left-back.

Tottenham defender Micky van de Ven has also joined Moore in reacting by liking the post, with the left-footed centre-back poised to have a close on-pitch relationship with Robertson.

As a left-sided central defender, he will be positioned directly beside the Scotsman when playing together.

Andy Robertson is a 'real leader' who'll 'raise the levels' at Tottenham

Both players are two potential relationships that could be key for Spurs heading into next season.

Robertson will officially become a Tottenham player on 1 July when his contract expires, but first, he will be competing at the World Cup.

What does Robertson's arrival at Tottenham mean for Moore?

If Moore can get his chance in the first team for Tottenham, then he will certainly enjoy his time playing in front of Robertson.

The Scotsman has built a career on making excellent relationships with the left-wingers in front of him.

His time with Sadio Mane at Liverpool, and later Luis Diaz, were two key partnerships for title-winning sides.

Robertson's leadership directly behind Moore would also allow the 32-year-old to guide him with instructions as to when he needs to either track back or stay further forward.

It would be a crucial step in the development of Moore if he is afforded the chance to learn from Robertson.

Time will now tell if this is a partnership that could flourish under De Zerbi.
