Lucas Bergvall has reportedly set his sights on an exit from Tottenham Hotspur, and AC Milan are waiting by.

It was reported by David Ornstein over the weekend that the Swede was looking for a new adventure, with it looking unlikely that he would have a role under Roberto De Zerbi.

The same may well happen with Archie Gray, who has been resigned to the bench in all but one of Tottenham's games since the Italian's arrival.

Nevertheless, Bergvall's performances since his arrival in North London will have certainly done him plenty of favours ahead of a potential exit, with it highly unlikely that he will be short of suitors.

Aston Villa had been mooted with an interest in the midfielder.

However, an escape route to Italy has emerged since, with AC Milan said to be keen on a deal.

How much do Tottenham want for Lucas Bergvall?

Recent reports stated that Spurs were looking for around £45million to sanction an exit for Bergvall.

Though news from Italy suggests otherwise.

News of AC Milan's interest has been reported by Calcio Mercato, with it claimed that Ruben Amorim has held "initial discussions" with transfer chiefs.

It's claimed that a fee closer to £25m may be considered by North Londoners, which would still represent a healthy profit.

Tottenham signed the Swede for £8.5m back in 2024, with 78 appearances made since then, including 33 in the previous campaign.

Who could replace Bergvall at Tottenham?

News of his potential exit isn't exactly out of the blue, with Spurs already linked with several midfielders.

Both Mateus Fernandes and Sandro Tonali have been mooted for a move to to North London.

The latter has already been the subject of a rejected bid from Tottenham, while the former has interest from several other European giants.

It seems likely that Tottenham will push hard for at least one of their arrivals, though they may wait and see what the future has in store for Bergvall before deciding on which one.
