Jarrod Bowen in 'ideal' position to join Tottenham, 'It would suit him perfectly'

Published on

Jarrod Bowen could favour a move to Tottenham Hotspur if he is forced out of West Ham this summer, says a former scout.

The Englishman is reeling from relegation with the Hammers as Roberto De Zerbi's men stayed up with a final day win.

That has sent both sides in a totally different trajectory as Spurs focus on incomings, while their London rivals look set to lose many key stars.

Andy Robertson and Marcos Senesi have already come in and other big names like Sandro Tonali have been linked.

Attention could soon turn to attacking reinforcements, with Bowen potentially emerging as an option.

The Irons skipper could be forced out of the London Stadium for financial reasons - and a move to N17 could suit him perfectly.

Jarrod Bowen wouldn't have to move house to join Tottenham

There is always noise surrounding the 29-year-old and a move away from East London due to the quality he possesses.

That is due to his obvious links to West Ham through his marriage to Dani Dyer, the daughter of celebrity and superfan Danny Dyer.

The general consensus is that he would struggle to depart the claret and blue outfit due to those family ties and the potential of moving away if he completes a transfer elsewhere.

Former Spurs scout Bryan King believes a move to North London would be ideal as he wouldn't have to relocate.

Speaking exclusively to Tottenham News, King said: "I'd bring in Jarrod Bowen from West Ham. It wouldn't be the first time that Tottenham and West Ham have done deals.

"It will certainly suit him because he lives in the Essex area and that's ideal for Tottenham. As a family, he wouldn't have to move at all so he would interest me if I were at Tottenham.

"He'll cost a fair bit, but the West Ham board have to sell at least two players for good money. They'll be looking between £30m and £40m for him, at least."

Jarrod Bowen available to Tottenham for just £65m: 'He's not staying at West Ham'

How far would Tottenham go to sign Bowen from West Ham?

The left-footed attacker continues to put in positive numbers even in a poor West Ham side.

He contributed to 23 goals despite relegation and is deserving of another chance in the Premier League.

Bowen could be an excellent option for Tottenham, especially considering he would have had the most combined goals and assists in N17 by five goals.

A fee in the region of £30m could prove to be a bargain, while even £40m may prove to be worth every penny this summer.

It will be interesting to see what the Englishman decides to do and where his future lies moving forward.
