Tottenham transfer round-up: attacker in ‘direct talks’, Angel Gomes latest
Tottenham have still only managed to add Antonín Kinský to Ange Postecoglou’s injury-riddled squad despite the winter deadline only being five days away.
Many gaps among Spurs’ ranks need filling but an area of priority should be that of their number nine.
Spurs sit 15th in the Premier League at the moment and without the addition of at least one or two new players, it’s hard to see how the North London outfit will be able to get out of this mess.
Here, Tottenham News rounds up the latest transfer rumours on Wednesday, January 29.
Mathys Tel now in ‘direct talks’ with Tottenham

One story that has really picked up the pace on Wednesday is where the future of Bayern Munich attacker Mathys Tel lies.
After learning that the Dutchman wanted to leave the Bavarian outfit, plenty Premier League teams have shown an interest in acquiring his services with Spurs seeming to lead the way.
While Tottenham’s interest is very real, Florian Plettenberg has said that the race is still “open” with no decisions made just yet.
Angel Gomes is now a ‘personal mission’ of Daniel Levy’s
Angel Gomes’ name is another that has cropped up as a potential target for almost all of the other top-flight teams with the Englishman’s contract set to expire at the end of the season.
However, it’s Tottenham that seems to be emerging as the leading candidate with Daniel Levy now on a “personal mission” to bring him to North London.
The former Manchester United midfielder earned his first England call-up in 2024 and would offer some much-needed creativity in the centre of the park.
Yang Min-hyeok has left Tottenham
The 18-year-old has already exited the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium and has been sent off to QPR for the second half of the season.
The youngster arrived in London last summer in a £3.3million deal and will be given a chance to prove his worth in the second tier.
His exit surely means that Spurs are expecting to bring at least one new player in otherwise there would have been no need for him to leave.
Hamza Igamane and Yoanne Wissa are on Tottenham’s radar
In Spurs’ never-ending search for attacking reinforcement both Hamza Igamane and Yoanne Wissa have been mooted as potential targets for Postecoglou.
Tottenham’s interest in Igamane has been documented for some time now with the Moroccan currently lighting things up for Rangers.
Wissa, on the other hand, is a new name that has been brought into the equation with the Brentford attacker now finding himself on Levy’s radar to try and bolster Tottenham’s ranks.
In other Tottenham news, Daniel Levy could end up making a decision that would reflect rather poorly on him.
