What Nicolas Jackson has already said about Tottenham fans as stunning transfer eyed
Nicolas Jackson could be set to swap Chelsea for Tottenham this summer after an approach was made.
Tottenham’s main focus for now will be replacing James Maddison, though attention will also be fixated on bolstering their forward line.
Spurs are said to have made an approach for Jackson, who would become the 10th player to represent both sides if a deal were to materialise.
The 24-year-old has scored 30 goals in 80 Chelsea appearances, and ahead of his potential move to Spurs, the Senegal international has already spoken fondly about the Tottenham fans.

Jackson full of praise for Tottenham fans after Chelsea win
Spurs fans won’t need reminding of this, but Jackson netted a hat-trick back in 2023 when Chelsea defeated Tottenham 4-1, with Cristian Romero and Destiny Udogie both sent off before the hour mark.
Two of his goals arrived in stoppage time, and after the game, Jackson spoke fondly about the backing by the Spurs supporters.
In quotes reported via BBC Sport, he said: “I need to always improve and work harder. We continue working.
“Tottenham have an amazing stadium and amazing fans, so we needed to fight and win the game.”
Jackson went on to score 14 Premier League goals that season, with 23 goal contributions in total across all competitions.
How many goals has Jackson scored against Tottenham?
Jackson has netted four times in four games against Spurs for Chelsea, albeit with three of those arriving in the same game.
The 24-year-old has not scored more goals against any other opposition in his career, with West Ham also joint on four.
While the deal to bring him to Spurs would be costly, it would be a good move for several reasons.
Not only would it end his goalscoring record against them, but it would add another option up top, with Dominic Solanke the only out-and-out striker.
Tottenham’s season gets underway in just over a week, and Thomas Frank will be hoping to add one or two more new faces to his squad before then.
