Tottenham Hotspur are looking to bring Serhou Guirassy to the Premier League this summer.

Of course, it still remains to be seen whether Spurs are in the Premier League themselves.

But if so, a report from Bild states that they have already made contact with Guirassy’s representatives ahead of a potential summer transfer.

AC Milan have also shown an interest in the recently turned 30-year-old, who has scored 55 goals for Dortmund in 88 appearances since his move there in 2024.

Tottenham are planning a summer rebuild, according to the reports, with Guirassy “expected to be part of that.”

Would Serhou Guirassy be a good signing for Tottenham?

His goal record over the last few seasons speaks for itself.

Guirassy has managed double figures for goals in each of his last five campaigns, including spells at Rennes, Stuttgart and now Dortmund, where he broke the record for most goals in a Champions League campaign.

He thrives on physicality, which is something that Tottenham have lacked in the forward areas for a while, especially with Dominic Solanke’s injury troubles, which have worsened in the wake of their 1-1 draw with Liverpool.

With 12 league goals from 12.45 xG, Guirassy has showcased his ability to finish the chances as they emerge, which has again been something that Tottenham have struggled with.

While his age may make a transfer seem underwhelming, his potential impact shouldn’t be overlooked.

Dortmund hold the cards with Guirassy

If Tottenham are to pursue a deal, then they will have to negotiate a price with Dortmund.

The striker has a release clause in the region of £43million, but that is only applicable for what Bild has described as “select top clubs like Real Madrid, Barcelona, ​​or Saudi Arabian clubs.”

Dortmund signed Guirassy for just £15m two years ago, with the German outfit now in line to receive at least double that this summer if he were to leave, with that price only likely to increase if he can maintain his current form.
