Napoli talent Antonio Vegara close to joining Tottenham
The 23-year-old is coming off the back of his first season as a first-team option for the then-Serie A title holders.
He has seen his appearances limited, but there is clearly trust there from Antonio Conte after bringing the attacking midfielder into the senior squad.

The 2003-born ace could now be on the move after just one campaign in Serie A, with North London emerging as a potential landing destination.
Local outlet Napoli Network reported on Thursday that he could be set to leave Stadio Diego Armando Maradona.
De Zerbi has followed his progress at Napoli and is now ready to bring the attacker in after avoiding relegation from the Premier League.
The Italian giants wouldn’t object to selling the Italian, so would accept a suitable offer to let him go this summer.
New attacking options are needed in N17, especially with Randal Kolo Muani set to leave Tottenham at the end of his loan, with no time being wasted at this stage.
How much could Tottenham pay Vegara?
Reports suggest that the 23-year-old is being paid a yearly salary of around £260,000 to feature for the Naples outfit.
That equates to just over £5,000 per week, a figure that would spike if he were to seal a Premier League move.
Spurs are ready to offer him a significant contract, potentially seeing his wage reach five times that at £25,000.
That would see him match fellow youngster and January signing Souza, while also sitting well below the squad average of around £70,000 per week.
Vegara could prove to be worth the risk at that sort of salary, but it would all depend on the transfer fee that Napoli demand this summer.
