Andy Robertson has already talked about negative reaction from Tottenham fans
Andy Robertson already knows what to expect from Tottenham Hotspur fans before signing.
The Scotland international has long been linked with a move to North London, but he opted to see out the campaign at Liverpool.
It’s safe to say it wasn’t a dream end to his spell on Merseyside as Arne Slot came under increased levels of scrutiny, but he still was able to wave goodbye to Anfield on the final day.
He is now preparing for a new adventure in the Premier League, and that looks likely to be with the Lilywhites.
Robertson is edging closer to a Tottenham move, but it seems he already understands what he is walking into for the new campaign.

Andy Robertson has spoken about Tottenham Hotspur Stadium boos
The atmosphere in N17 has been pretty toxic this season, but that is largely due to the results that fans have been made to sit through.
There has been little positivity to speak of, with a win against Everton on the final day just about enough to keep Spurs in the Premier League.

Jeers and whistles have become regular in North London as a result of the shocking showings, but they were on show long before that.
Robertson made note of the booing at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium back in 2022 as the half-time whistle sounded in a clash against Liverpool.
Antonio Conte’s side went on to lose 2-1 on the day, and the Scotland international believed his side had clearly done well to garner such a reaction from the home supporters.

He said: “I think we could have tried to control the game a bit better. But, at the end of the day, you are coming away to a top-six team, who have just been booed off at half-time. They have a manager that expects reactions, and I think they got that.”
Robertson is now set to play for Tottenham, but it can only be a plus that he already knows exactly what to expect.
Tottenham set to beat Juventus to Robertson signing
There has been an expectation that the Lilywhites would bring the left-back in if they remained in the Premier League.
When a deal didn’t materialise in January, it looked likely that a summer move could be done.
That looks likely to be the case after Fabrizio Romano reported on Wednesday that Spurs have reached a verbal agreement to sign Robertson on a free transfer.

Pact expected to be respected and deal to be signed soon despite Juventus proposal to try hijack the deal.

There was a pact between the two parties to get a deal done, something which could have been ruined by interest from Juventus.
The Old Lady looked to hijack a deal, but with Roberto De Zerbi now in charge, Robertson wants the move to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
