ENIC have signed off on Tottenham relegation with latest Igor Tudor sack news
Tottenham Hotspur‘s relegation to the Championship may be set in stone after ENIC’s latest decision on Igor Tudor.
The Croatian manager is under extreme pressure in North London after failing to win any of his first four matches in charge.
BBC journalist Sami Mokbel claimed on 11 March that the ownership are set to leave Tudor’s future down to Vinai Venkatesham and Johan Lange.
He stated that they have no intention to take a decision on Tudor’s sacking at Tottenham out of the duo’s hands.

Why will ENIC decision lead to relegation for Tottenham?
Tottenham chiefs Venkatesham and Lange have been slammed for their incompetence on several occasions already this season.
Given that they have failed to sack Tudor already and he looks set to take charge against Liverpool on 15 March, ENIC’s decision is a mistake.

The frustrating pair have already shown that they should not be in charge of critical decisions, and the owners may have signed off on relegation by allowing them to make the call.
What has gone wrong for Tudor?
Tudor was hired due to his ability to turn clubs around on short notice, with Juventus being held up as a significant example.
He took the Italian giants to Champions League qualification in the 2024-25 season after one loss in nine matches at the end of the campaign.
He has not had that kind of impact at Spurs, and his approach has not resonated with the players at all, if anything, it has made things worse.
Tudor’s ruthless, pragmatic approach has not built a rapport with the players, and he has surely alienated several with his treatment of Antonin Kinsky in the 5-2 loss to Atletico Madrid on 10 March.

The only correct decision is to dismiss Tudor from his post, otherwise he will take them down to the Championship.
However, there is little faith that Venkatesham and Lange will make the right call, and relieve the 47-year-old of his duties, and ENIC may have sunk the Lilywhites by giving them the power.
There should also be question marks over their position in the summer, as they have consistently made the wrong moves while they have been in leadership roles.
