Ange Postecoglou most likely next club shifts as new job position opens up
Ange Postecoglou will be looking for a way back into football after being sacked by both Nottingham Forest and Tottenham Hotspur.
The Australian left Spurs after delivering the Lilywhites their first trophy in over a decade.
However, life in N17 has not been quite as smooth sailing as the ownership would have hoped after taking the decision to part ways.
Thomas Frank and Igor Tudor have left Tottenham in a relegation battle, with Roberto De Zerbi having to turn the ship around.
Tottenham’s former manager Postecoglou, though, could be in line for a return to Premier League action as a new role has opened up.

What is Ange Postecoglou’s most likely next job?
Andoni Iraola is set to leave Bournemouth at the end of the season, leaving the Cherries job vacant ahead of the summer.
The job down south joins a list of open roles with multiple clubs searching for a new manager this summer.
| Premier League clubs in managerial market – Confirmed | Reason |
| Manchester United – Michael Carrick | Currently interim manager |
| Crystal Palace – Oliver Glasner | Confirmed to leave |
| Bournemouth – Andoni Iraola | Confirmed to leave |
According to one leading bookmaker, Postecoglou is now 7/1 to become Bournemouth manager after the news of Iraola’s departure.
Additionally, the same bookmaker has him at 11/1 to take over at Crystal Palace and 25/1 to replace Arne Slot at Liverpool.
Although Slot is not confirmed to be ousted as Liverpool manager, speculation about his future has been rife after the Merseyside club has underperformed this season.

That move would be an emotional one for the Australian, having previously admitted to supporting Liverpool in his youth.
Postecoglou still has it all to prove in England
Despite winning Tottenham a trophy, there still seem to be question marks hanging above the 60-year-old’s head.
His style of play is not deemed to be good enough to compete for the biggest honours in England. For all the excitement with his attacking intent, his system comes with obvious flaws in his defensive set-ups.
However, at a club like Bournemouth or Crystal Palace, where mid-table and European finishes are seen as the ceiling, rather than the bare minimum, it could be the perfect amalgamation for a successful period.

In those sorts of environments, where fun and exciting football can get the crowd off their feet with a more dimmed expectation, Postecoglou could thrive.
After jumping into the Nottingham Forest job too soon after leaving Spurs, English football fans will have to be won over once again by the Australian.
