Tottenham vs Nottingham Forest result in Premier League predicted by supercomputer

Tottenham Hotspur are predicted to beat Nottingham Forest at home in their relegation six-pointer on Sunday.

Spurs haven’t won a league game under the Croatian head coach so far, and they are still looking for their first top-flight win in 2026.

However, Tottenham claimed a point at Anfield last weekend, and although they were eliminated on aggregate, they beat Atletico Madrid 3-2 in their second-leg Champions League clash.

All attention now turns to the league, where they face a Vitor Pereira side that sit just one point and one place below Spurs in the table.

However, given their performance against the Spaniards in midweek, Tottenham are expected to win against Forest.

Tottenham predicted as strong favourites vs Nottingham Forest

Tottenham are the only side without a Premier League win so far in 2026, drawing five and losing seven of their 12 games.

Only three sides have had longer runs without a win from the start of a calendar year, all of whom were relegated (Sunderland, 17 in 2002-03; Derby, 18 in 2007-08; Middlesbrough, 14 in 2016-17).

However, according to Opta, Spurs will win their first Premier League game in 2026 against Forest.

Spurs have lost their last three Premier League games against Nottingham Forest, having won six in a row against them before that.

Their last win in this fixture came in April 2024, with the Lilywhites winning 3-1 at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Tottenham’s miserable record in the last two years looks set to come to an end, and a win on Sunday would be huge for their Premier League survival hopes.

Spurs have conceded 47 goals in the league this season, and goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario hasn’t covered himself in glory.

Tottenham have Guglielmo Vicario issue that has cost them in Premier League

In last Sunday’s draw with Liverpool, the Italian flapped at Dominik Szoboszlai’s free-kick, failing to keep it out of the back of the net.

Tottenham have conceded more goals from outside the box than any other Premier League side this season, with their 11 against their most in a campaign since 2007-08 (18).

It must be said, Vicario produced a magnificent save against Atletico Madrid‘s Giuliano Simeone to preserve Spurs’ lead in the first half.

However, Forest have the likes of Callum Hudson-Odoi and Morgan Gibbs-White, who can score from long range, which is a worry for Spurs.

The visitors may feel that a shot from distance is the best way for them to find the back of the net, and Vicario can’t afford to make another mistake that could cost Tottenham dearly.
