Tottenham vs Liverpool player ratings: Pedro Porro atrocious, Guglielmo Vicario costly again
Tottenham Hotspur secured a 1-1 draw away to Liverpool.
To no one’s surprise, Liverpool took an early lead against Spurs, with Dominik Szoboszlai scoring from range from a free kick, with Guglielmo Vicario as helpless as ever.
Liverpool failed to create much outside of that, but the lack of quality from Spurs for the most part meant that they didn’t need to.
Richarlison had a few half-chances but failed to take them, which was again the theme of Tottenham’s performance.
However, the Brazilian made no mistake with his last effort of the game, rolling the ball beyond Alisson to seal a point for Spurs.
But with Tottenham at risk of relegation, and now winless in five games under the Croatian, they may still have no choice but to sack Igor Tudor this weekend.

Pedro Porro was schooled by a teenager
Pedro Porro is another who has had a dreadful campaign, but his performance against the Reds may be his worst of the season.
Rio Ngumoha had the Spaniard on strings from the first minute to the last before his substitution, as demonstrated by the fact that he was dribbled past on six occasions.
He failed to win any of his seven ground duels against Arne Slot’s side, who ran him ragged all game, as showcased by his Sofascore graphic below.

You’d often be able to excuse his lack of defensive ability by highlighting the quality he has on the ball.
But with a 70 per cent pass accuracy, that was not the case against Liverpool.
Guglielmo Vicario mishap proves costly again
Tottenham’s downfall can come down to several factors, but the lack of form from Vicario is certainly up there.
The Italian has been responsible for several of the goals conceded this season, and it was the same against Liverpool at Anfield, having been beaten by Szoboszlai’s effort, which had an xGOT of just 0.02.
On top of that, Vicario completed just 39 per cent of his attempted long balls, while also
Jamie Carragher made it clear that Tottenham have a major goalkeeping issue, and Vicario summed that up yet again.
It was the only real effort from Liverpool in the whole game, and had Vicario saved it, it could have been a different story.
