Tottenham officially reach new low after fan chant surfaces online during relegation fight
Tottenham Hotspur have officially stooped to new lows after League One club Lincoln City brutally mocked their relegation plight.
It was another weekend to forget for Spurs, and they weren’t even in action.
Igor Tudor’s side find themselves on the brink of tumbling into the Championship, with just one point all that separates them from the Premier League bottom three.
As a result, they are fighting for their very top-flight survival, and this fact has not been lost on supporters of one particular club hoping to go toe-to-toe with them.
This latest stinging humiliation is hardly the ideal way to prepare for Tottenham’s next match against Atletico Madrid in the Champions League last-16.

What did Lincoln supporters chant about Tottenham?
While Spurs are glancing nervously over their shoulder, Lincoln City are flying high.
Indeed, Saturday saw them clinch a 2-0 victory against League One title rivals Cardiff City, a result which helped them leapfrog the Bluebirds to the top of the table.
Michael Skubala’s charges now hold a 10-point advantage in the automatic places and also hold a game in hand, all but guaranteeing they will be promoted to the Championship.
They could, therefore, end up in the same division as Tottenham if they are relegated.
It was once an unthinkable scenario, but Lincoln are determined to make the most of it.
Openly mocking Spurs following the final whistle at the Cardiff City Stadium, the away end was filmed chanting: “Tottenham away, ole, ole.”
While the prospect of a trip to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium next season would be irresistible for Lincoln, Spurs may not be so keen for the match-up.
Either way, Spurs must first focus on their showdown against Atletico, although the statistics point toward another poor night for Tottenham boss Tudor.
Video encapsulates the mess at Tottenham
The mere fact that relegation is now being taken seriously points to the level of disaster unfolding at Spurs.
Pundits and supporters alike have tipped Tottenham as the third favourites to go down, with players short on confidence and Tudor failing to inspire a turnaround.
But the maths are very simple. They currently hold a tally of 28 points, and will need at least another 10 from their final nine games to have a fighting chance of staying up.
On their current trajectory, they will comfortably fall short, and unless they start putting results on the board, an away trip to Lincoln will become a foregone conclusion.
