The long-standing Gareth Bale and Peter Crouch record Kolo Muani could break at Tottenham
Tottenham Hotspur forward Randal Kolo Muani could get his season back on track against Atletico Madrid on Tuesday.
Kolo Muani has struggled to perform at Tottenham after joining on loan from Paris Saint-Germain in the summer.
However, with three goals in the Champions League so far, the 27-year-old has shown huge amounts of promise in N17, and he seems to thrive on the biggest stage for Spurs.
Despite some underwhelming performances in recent games, the Frenchman could now match a Tottenham Champions League record that is currently held by Gareth Bale and Peter Crouch.
And if Tottenham do beat Atletico Madrid, then Kolo Muani could play a huge part in the win.

Randal Kolo Muani has been excellent in the Champions League for Tottenham
The last-16 tie between Tottenham and Atletico Madrid is a tough one to call, but the Spaniards probably hold the edge over Spurs.
However, Igor Tudor’s side will fancy their chances, with the second leg being played at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
According to Sofascore, Kolo Muani has completed 63.5 per cent of his attempted dribbles, and he’ll be desperate to record another successful performance in Europe’s elite competition on Tuesday.

Kolo Muani has been directly involved in five goals in seven games for Tottenham in the UEFA Champions League this season, already his most in a single edition.
Indeed, only two players have netted more than three goals in their first Champions League campaign as a Spurs player: Bale and Crouch, who both scored four in 2010-11.
While Atletico Madrid’s defence will be tough to break down, Kolo Muani has already shone against PSG this season, and it’s very plausible that he could find himself on the scoresheet against the Spanish giants.

Having worked with Tudor at Juventus, he is accustomed to the style of play, and he finally scored his first Premier League goal in the 4-1 loss to Arsenal.
Does Kolo Muani still have it takes to be a success at Tottenham?
The imposing forward has scored nine goals in 31 caps for his country, and he’s desperate to appear in successive World Cup tournaments for Les Bleus.
Currently, his form for Spurs isn’t good enough to be in Didier Deschamps’ squad, unless there is a drastic change.
His pass accuracy of 70 per cent and his duel win success rate of 33 per cent in the Premier League show that he needs to step up his game in multiple areas.
Kolo Muani has an abundance of talent, and although there are plenty of doubts, he could relish the opportunity of scoring the goals that will keep Tottenham in the Premier League.
And given his form in Europe, it would be hard to argue against that in the final few months of the season.
