Tottenham news round-up: Gibbs-White legal complaint as press conference set
Tottenham fans will hope that Daniel Levy continues last week’s ambition over the coming days.
Levy demonstrated his new proactive approach, resulting in Thomas Frank officially welcoming Mohammed Kudus to pre-season training on Monday (14 July).
The Dane is still a way off finalising his squad, and will be hoping to get closer to the finished product this week as Tottenham News brings you the latest updates from N17.

Sergio Reguilón could join West Ham this summer
West Ham could sign Sergio Reguilón on a free transfer this summer after his contract with Tottenham expired last month.
The Hammers are showing the most enthusiasm to sign the Spanish full-back, while clubs in Italy and Saudi Arabia have also expressed interest.
The 28-year-old has been shipped out on loan three times since arriving from Real Madrid in September 2020, but remained at Spurs for his final year, making just six appearances.

Morgan Gibbs-White returns to Nottingham Forest
Nottingham Forest are widely reported to have submitted a legal complaint to the Premier League as Morgan Gibbs-White has returned to pre-season training with the Midlands club.
The Reds’ combustible owner, Evangelos Marinakis, is deeply unimpressed by Tottenham approaching the England international without prior consent.
Club | Appearances | Goals | Assists |
Nottingham Forest | 118 | 18 | 28 |
Wolves | 88 | 3 | 1 |
Sheffield United (Loan) | 37 | 12 | 10 |
Swansea (Loan) | 6 | 1 | 1 |
The 57-year-old has delayed the deal while the issues get resolved, but Spurs remain calm and confident that they will get the deal for the impressive attacking midfielder over the line.
Gibbs-White registered 17 direct goal contributions for his side last season, helping Forest secure European football for the first time since 1996.

Frank’s first press conference set for Friday
Frank’s first press conference as Tottenham manager is set for Friday (18 July), one day before Tottenham face Reading in their first pre-season fixture.
It will give journalists their first chance to ask the Dane about his first weeks in charge at Hotspur Way, with the futures of Son Heung-min and Cristian Romero expected to be high on their list of questions.
Fans will also hope to learn more about the Gibbs-White situation, and will be eager to know what the new manager thinks of his current squad in N17.
