Antonin Kinsky is ‘finished at Tottenham’ as Igor Tudor causes irreversible damage
Antonin Kinsky faces a tough road back at Tottenham Hotspur, with commentator Darren Fletcher claiming the goalkeeper is “finished” following the scenes against Atletico Madrid.
Igor Tudor made the huge call to start the Czech goalkeeper in the Champions League following recent criticism for Guglielmo Vicario’s performances.
It was a risk by the Croatian, especially considering Kinsky had never started in the Champions League throughout his career.
Additionally, he had made just two appearances for Spurs this campaign, with the last arriving back in October in the Carabao Cup.
In the end, Tudor’s decision utterly backfired as Kinsky made multiple errors in Tottenham’s 5-2 loss to Atletico Madrid.

What happened to Antonin Kinsky against Atletico Madrid?
Tottenham’s Champions League tie against Atletico Madrid started in the worst possible fashion, as the North London club found themselves 3-0 down after 16 minutes.
Unfortunately, Kinsky, who was hoping to stake a claim for the number one position in N17, was the centre of the early collapse.
The 22-year-old made two crucial errors which the Red and Whites capitalised on. In the fifth minute, the Czech goalkeeper slipped as he went to play a long pass out of his box, leading to the opener.
Then, he miskicked a back pass that left Julian Alvarez with an open net in the 14th. Tudor immediately responded to the third goal by making quite the decision, as Kinsky was taken off for Vicario.
Fletcher could not believe what he was seeing and is now fearful for the Czech’s future at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
Speaking on TNT Sports, Fletcher said: “He’s going to take him off after 16 minutes. You are finished as a goalkeeper at the club. You can’t come back from this if you are Kinsky.’
The commentator felt sympathy for the goalkeeper also, following up his comments by saying the situation is “on the manager”.
Overall, it does seem hard to see how Kinsky can come back from this, with supporters unlikely to have any of the faith they had in him pre-match left.
However, Pape Matar Sarr could face the same fate as Kinsky following his display at the Riyadh Air Metropolitano.

Joe Hart reacts to Antonin Kinsky being substituted against Atletico Madrid
It was not just Fletcher that felt concern for Kinsky, as former goalkeeper Joe Hart felt heartbroken for the Spurs man.
Hart, who was also featured on TNT said: “I’ve been trying to make sense of it. My heart is absolutely broken for him [Kinsky]. He had a horrible 14 minutes, that slip and the third goal.
“I don’t know what to say. I am just heartbroken for the lad. This Tottenham team is all over the place.”
Kinsky’s confidence will no doubt be on the floor, and the Czech was visibly frustrated after going off.
Following his dismissal, the 22-year-old immediately went down the tunnel and back into the changing room.
