Antonin Kinsky finally looks to be proving himself at Tottenham Hotspur.

The Czechia international has been the go-to man between the sticks since the arrival of Roberto De Zerbi.

That had caught many by surprise, especially after his horrorshow away to Atletico Madrid in the Champions League.

He was still given the nod ahead of Guglielmo Vicario before he was shipped off to Juventus.

The 23-year-old is still growing into the role as he continues to feature regularly for the Lilywhites.

Kinsky has now seriously started to catch the eye as he starts to play a bigger part at Tottenham.

What has suddenly changed for Antonin Kinsky at Tottenham?

There have been plenty of talking points surrounding the 2003-born keeper since coming to North London.

He has always been seen as a youthful option having joined as a 21-year-old in January 2025.

That sort of reputation hasn't always helped him, especially when being installed as number one.

It finally seems as if he is leaving that behind based on what John Wenham saw against Manchester United.

The Lilywhite Rose account owner has piled praise on the keeper and believes he is finally becoming a senior member of the Spurs squad.

Speaking exclusively to Tottenham News, Wenham said: "I just saw Kinsky for the first time, not as the kind of young prospect in goal, but as a kind of mature goalkeeper, and that might be on the back of him getting his first cap for the Czech Republic over the week before, but he just seemed more authoritative.

"He seemed more like he knew what he was doing, he was not the young kid, he was like the Premier League player, if that makes sense.

"He looked really authoritative, I really liked it."

That is certainly a big plus for the Czech shot-stopper, but why was his Old Trafford showing so impressive?

The numbers behind Kinsky vs Manchester United?

The N17 outfit were excellent in spells against the Red Devils and certainly should have scored more on the day.

They could have actually gone on to lose after Bryan Mbeumo opened the scoring.

It could have been worse if it wasn't for Kinsky.

The keeper made three saves and was given little chance when the Cameroon international found the net.

He showed a better level of quality on the ball as he clocked up 49 touches and 28 accurate passes.

He added to that by completing five throws and nine recoveries to help keep the Lilywhites ticking.

Kinsky's showing made an impression and now he has to back it up in the coming weeks and months.

The shot-stopper can't afford to fall back into the idea of being this youthful keeper with very little experience at the top level.

Now, it's all about three points and hopefully a clean sheet against Coventry on Monday evening.
