Tye Hall goes under the radar after Tottenham scenes vs Auckland
Tye Hall could be the next breakout star at Tottenham Hotspur.
The 18-year-old started at right-back in the 2-0 pre-season win over Auckland on Sunday.
Hall has been with Spurs since the age of seven, working his way through the ranks, captaining the Under-18s in the 2025/26 campaign.

The 17-year-old produced a wonderful display that left supporters purring about his potential.
While he is getting all the credit, though, Hall is going under the radar for his showing.
What was so special about Tye Hall's display in Auckland vs Tottenham?
Hall put in his claim for a future role under Roberto De Zerbi against the New Zealand side.
He completed 91 per cent of his passes, misplacing just three, according to Fotmob data.
The Lilywhites academy star had 49 touches, with two coming in the opposition box and made two passes into the final third.
He recorded the joint-most defensive contributions with eight, making two tackles, three clearances and three interceptions.
Hall also managed three recoveries and won two of three ground duels for a 67 per cent success rate.
Despite that impressive showing, he is hardly being talked about after the game.
What is the competition like for Hall?
If he continues as a right-back, he faces pretty tough competition, with Pedro Porro and Djed Spence.
The former has just signed a new contract and looked undroppable at the World Cup with Spain, while the latter also impressed with England.
If he wants to break into the side in his typical midfield spot, it may be even more difficult.
Mateus Fernandes and Sandro Tonali have signed for big fees, while Conor Gallagher is another high-profile option.
De Zerbi also has the likes of Rodrigo Bentancur, Lucas Bergvall and Archie Gray in that part of the field, so it will not be easy for Hall.
However, he will have put the boss on notice with how he played against the Black Knights and may be handed further opportunities in the future, especially in the coming weeks.
Whether he can take them when it really matters, rather than pre-season, that remains to be seen, but it was an encouraging showing from the youngster.
