Tottenham have a 'little Pogba' in their ranks after what parents have told insider

Published on:

Tottenham gem Kwasi Senyah has been drawing comparisons with Paul Pogba.

That is what Spurs youth insider John Wenham revealed after what he has been told.

Senyah joined the Lilywhites' academy in September from Wolves as a first-year scholar in the Under-18's.

The 16-year-old was making waves in the Molineux side's academy, making his U18 debut at just 14 years of age.

He has impressed at Hotspur Way since signing for the North London outfit too.

Wenham has now revealed what parents have been telling him about Senyah.

What have parents told John Wenham about Tottenham talent Kwasi Senyah?

The Lilywhite Rose account owner revealed that parents have labelled Senyah as a "little Pogba".

He states that they have been stunned by his impact on Jamie Carr's side so far.

Speaking exclusively to Tottenham News, he said: “A few parents have told me about a player that is apparently unbelievable, he hasn't played too much yet, but he came on as a sub on the weekend.

“Kwasi Senyah, the England Youth international signed from Wolves, the parents have been telling me he's sensational.

“They're saying he's like a little Pogba, when he gets his career moving, I think he will be a decent player.

“I've had some parents reach out to me and say he's absolute top table, they're really blown away by him, it's got to be sooner rather than later that he's going to be starting [for the Under-18's].”

Why Pogba comparison is very encouraging for Senyah

Pogba when he was at his peak was known for his ability to change games, with his elite passing range and vision.

He was a physically dominant midfielder, who used his presence to impose his will on the opposition.

The Frenchman was also blessed with brilliant close control of the ball, with his dribbling among the best in the world.

He topped it all off with his shooting from long range which made him a very dangerous player.

Senyah currently stands at 5'10, so there is time for him to grow and reach the same height as Pogba, but his footballing ability will take some refinement before he is ready for the professional game.

If he could replicate Pogba's ability in the slightest, he will make his way into Roberto De Zerbi's plans sooner rather than later.
