Tottenham Hotspur will be hoping for their first Premier League win against Coventry City on Monday.

The North London outfit are yet to beat a side after six league matches this season.

Roberto De Zerbi has struggled to secure three points in a single game, with goalscoring being an evident issue in N17.

Spurs are arguably facing Coventry at the wrong time, with Frank Lampard's team coming off back-to-back victories against Nottingham Forest and Newcastle United.

The West Midlands club dominated the Magpies at home in their previous fixture and will be coming to North London in high spirits.

De Zerbi's side have shown a lot of promise in recent performances, especially against Manchester United, but it's their end product that has let them down.

Andy Madley will referee the Tottenham and Coventry game, and the North Londoners have a mixed record when he takes charge.

After investing heavily in their squad this summer, fans in N17 were confident going into the season, but the Lilywhites have let them down.

The North London outfit have failed to beat sides considered relatively weaker than them.

Opta Analyst's supercomputer has given Spurs a 51 per cent chance of beating Coventry.

Tottenham are clear favourites, with the chance of Lampard's team winning at 23 per cent and the probability of a draw at 24 per cent.

The last time Coventry beat Spurs was almost 26 years back on October 2000, with the North Londoners losing 2-1 away from home.

Since then, the five fixtures between the two have gone in Tottenham's favour.

How Tottenham will once again humiliate fans vs Coventry

Tottenham have an abysmal home record over the last two seasons, losing 12 times.

The North London outfit have won just three games at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium since the start of the 2026-27 campaign.

Under De Zerbi this season, fans have been given hope by the Lilywhites after strong starts to matches, but they end up humiliating and disappointing their supporters.

The Italian manager has struggled to get a victory and his attackers haven't helped one bit.

Spurs have created 2.5 big chances per game in the league this season, but have missed two on average, as per Sofascore.

If the same trend continues against Coventry, then it wouldn't be surprising to see the Lilywhites drop more points at home on Monday.
