Malachi Hardy will be 'absolutely invaluable' after standout Tottenham moments vs Chelsea
Spurs expert John Wenham was very happy with the entire squad after the 2-1 victory against the Blues in Australia on Saturday.
Hardy came on in the 54th minute, after Roberto De Zerbi's side were reduced to 10-men through Kevin Danso's red card.
Tottenham News has previously covered a potential loan move to Leicester for Hardy, but that may not be needed now.
Whether he is handed a chance for the 2026-27 Premier League season or sent out on loan still remains to be seen.
One thing for certain, Hardy is set for a huge future in North London.

Wenham believes that Hardy was the standout academy player in the contest.
The Lilywhites Rose owner thinks that the things he has learned on the tour of Australia will come in very handy.
Speaking exclusively to Tottenham News, he said: “Tottenham from this point brought on the likes of Malachi Hardy, Rio Kyerematen, Tye Hall, Jamie Donley, Luca Williams-Barnett, Mikey Moore and withheld Chelsea that still had on the pitch Cole Palmer, Estevao and Joao Pedro.
“Tottenham with these young players dug deep. Huge credit to the academy staff at Tottenham for producing these players with huge levels of resilience.
“I think some of these young players have really given themselves a chance of pushing De Zerbi’s thought process and whether or not they should stay around the squad this season.
“Hardy is one of them, he came on very early on in the second half with Tottenham down to 10 men and stood firm.
“He made a fantastic block from a one of Chelsea's crosses into the box, and his experience and what he's learned from this tour were absolutely invaluable.”

Tottenham's victory over the Stamford Bridge side was even more sweet due to the amount of academy talents involved.
The likes of Moore, Hardy, Kyerematen and Williams-Barnett all played for the badge and have the animosity that they should have towards the Lilywhites' London rivals.
Now, hopefully some of them can play a part and help Spurs to beat Xabi Alonso's side in the Premier League.
