Jason Cundy and Jamie O'Hara have been accused of using Tottenham for cheap laughs.
That is the view of Spurs expert John Wenham after their last criticism of Roberto De Zerbi's side.
The two talkSPORT hosts have agreed that the Lilywhites are in a relegation battle, after their dismal start to the campaign, with their new claims.
Tottenham sit bottom of the Premier League after two draws and three losses in their opening five matches.
Wenham still has faith that they can turn it around, and is not having any talk of the drop at the moment.
He had choice words for the two pundits after their opinions on the N17 outfit.
What has been said about Jason Cundy and Jamie O'Hara's relegation talk?
The Lilywhite Rose account owner believes that Cundy and O'Hara are just being controversial because they know it will increase clicks.
Speaking exclusively to Tottenham News, he said: "Jason Cundy and Jamie O'Hara, they do their thing well, you know, their sort of pub jokes, they get the cheap laughs.
"There's not much intellectual quality in their analysis, you know, it's just wearing wigs and catchphrases.
"Not to put down other people, but for me, it's kind of lowest common denominator stuff that comes from those two, without much intellect of what actually goes on in a football game.
"I think that this international break has come at a fantastic time for us, Yes, we're bottom of the table and that means there's three weeks' worth of the likes of Cundy, O'Hara, Agbonlahor, and others making quick gags, but the reality is maybe we need this reset.
"We'll have quite a few players at the training ground, the likes of James Maddison, Conor Gallagher, Dominic Solanke, Antonin Kinsky, and Tosin Adarabioyo, there's quite a few players that the manager's going to have a real opportunity to work with now over the next couple of weeks.
"We've got Man United away and we've got Coventry at home on the Monday night, which is an enormous game. We need to be in a position to pick up six points from those two games and really start our season."
Is Tottenham relegation claim fair?
Unfortunately, criticism of Spurs and how they have started the campaign is fair game right now.
They spent approximately £314million in the summer, and are yet to see the results of that on the pitch.
No wins and just two goals scored in the league is simply not good enough, and means that pundits are going to take aim and throw them in relegation debates.
De Zerbi and his players need to ignore it and just try to turn it around without worrying about outside noise.
