View: Tottenham youngster Jaden Williams has bright future as he signs first professional deal
Tottenham have announced on Twitter that Under-18s forward Jaden Williams has signed his first professional contract with the club.
Spurs announced the news on 14 June with the 2004-born forward having been with the club since he was just six years old.
Throughout that time, he has consistently maintained a good goalscoring record throughout the age groups and recently made the step up to Under-21s football.

During the 2021/22 campaign, Williams made 31 appearances for the academy across the front three, predominantly featuring as a centre-forward. During his appearances, he scored 14 goals and provided five assists, which included netting three in three in the FA Youth Cup.
He began to feature at the Under-21s level as he played 46 minutes of Premier League 2 football (transfermrkt), and this only increased during the 2022/23 season.
Williams featured in nine Premier League 2 matches last season, scoring once, while continuing to impress at Under-18 level. In total, he scored nine goals and provided four assists in his 17 Under-18 Premier League appearances, while also finding the back of the net twice in the UEFA Youth League.
His goalscoring ability is clearly on display for all to see and the London-born talent will be hoping he can continue his development toward the first team after signing his first professional deal.

Highly-regarded Spurs Twitter account, Lilywhite Rose, showed their support for Williams following the announcement.
“Delighted with this. I know it was a big decision Jaden with the other forwards at the club but back yourself and you’ll do well,” the account wrote (14 June).
Ange Postecoglou certainly has a talented player to keep his eyes on and he will look to bridge the gap between the academy and first-team squad.
