Tottenham U18s midfielder Callum Olusesi continues to show attacking potential in victory against Fulham U18s
Tottenham Under-18s midfielder Callum Olusesi scored a first-half brace in a 3-1 win away at Fulham Under-18s on Saturday 9 November.
Spurs’ youngsters continued their brilliant response to life without injured star Mikey Moore by picking up their second win of the week, with both victories equally as important as each other.
Moore has scored eight goals and provided five assists in seven U18 Premier League South appearances this season, therefore fears of what Spurs would do for goals in his absence were completely justified.

Nonetheless, Moore’s teammates have stepped up and responded to those doubts in style, scoring eight goals across their two matches this week, advancing to round four of the FA Youth Cup with a 5-1 away at Brentford Under-18s on Tuesday 5 December before knocking off league rivals Fulham at Motspur Park on Saturday afternoon.
It is a victory which sees the north London outfit open up a five-point lead at the top of the table and a six-point advantage over third-placed Fulham, who had the opportunity to go level on points with Tottenham had they won.
Qualifying for the fourth round of a cup competition before winning away at your league rivals represents a good week of work for any side playing in any division, and Spurs had one man, in particular, to thank as midfielder Olusesi continued his fine goalscoring form.
The 16-year-old opened the scoring just two minutes into the crunch clash, steering in from the visitors’ first corner of the afternoon. Just 20 minutes later the attacking midfielder had a brace, finishing well after a neat touch to double his side’s advantage.
Fulham halved the deficit on 37 minutes as Tom Olyott scored from the spot but just like Brentford on Tuesday, having got themselves back into the game, the Cottagers were reduced to ten men when Oliver Gofford was shown a straight red card for a late challenge on Archie Chaplin on the stroke of half time. Kieran Morgan added a third with the only goal of the second half to help Spurs see out the win.

It is now four in four for Olusesi in a Spurs shirt in all competitions, with the youngster also scoring twice for England Under-17s during their European qualifying match with Kosovo Under-17s on 6 November.
Olusesi has clearly found some goalscoring form which will only help his side over the next few weeks as they continue life without their biggest goalscoring threat, Moore.
It may also be starting to put him on the radar for first-team manager Ange Postecoglou, who’s side is suffering with a dip in form and also an injury crisis.
In other Tottenham news, Daniel Levy must splash the cash on a European star to replace a Spurs flop.
