Ange Postecoglou can save himself from sack with rare Tottenham start v Bournemouth
Ange Postecoglou is under immense pressure at Tottenham after losing 1-0 against AZ Alkmaar in the UEFA Europa League on Thursday.
Spurs failed to take advantage of Manchester City’s abysmal form when they hosted home at home in their last Premier League game on 26 February as they succumbed to a 1-0 defeat, thanks to an early Erling Haaland goal.
The North London giants now face the prospect of crashing out of the Europa League after losing by the same margin against AZ Alkmaar in the first leg of their Round of 16 tie in the Netherlands on Thursday (6 March).
The two results have once again put Postecoglou’s future at Tottenham under the microscope, with a defeat against Bournemouth at home on Sunday (9 March) certain to leave Daniel Levy with a decision to make.

Postecoglou must start Mikey Moore v Bournemouth
Therefore, it is imperative that Postecoglou get Spurs back to winning ways against a Bournemouth side looking to go as high as fifth place in the Premier League.
While the Greek-Australian manager has insisted that he will not change his playing style on multiple occasions, it might be time that he made bold decisions when it comes to team selection.
That is why there is a case to be made about Mikey Moore being handed a rare start against Andoni Iraola’s side.

The 17-year-old has shown a lot of promise since making his breakthrough this season, but has been restricted to just two starts in the Premier League even amid an injury crisis.
It is worth noting that the attacker helped Spurs to a 2-0 away win against Brentford in his last league start, although he was only on the pitch for 45 minutes.

Moore can start ahead of Brennan Johnson for Tottenham
Brennan Johnson, who missed seven games across all competitions in January and February, played the full 90 minutes against Manchester City and Alkmaar and is due a rest.
That would allow Postecoglou to start Moore on the right side of the attack.
Alternatively, the former Celtic boss could deploy the Spurs youth gem in his natural position on the left and play Son Heung-min and Mathys Tel down the middle and the right-hand side respectively.
Moore could use his pace to cause headaches to Bournemouth right-back Lewis Cook, who is perhaps the weakest link in their defence.
