The North London outfit subsequently turned their attention to Mudryk and have managed to convince both the player and Chelsea.
According to Sky Sports journalist Florian Plettenberg on 1 September, the winger will undergo his medical on Tuesday ahead of a move to Spurs.
The Lilywhites seem to have been keen on reinforcing their forward line in the final days of the transfer window and are about to end it with the arrival of the Ukraine international.
How Mykhailo Mudryk performed under Roberto De Zerbi
Mudryk had his breakout season at Shakhtar Donetsk under De Zerbi.
The Italian manager and forward worked together at the Ukraine club for just one season, but that laid the platform for him to be one of the most exciting prospects in European football.
Mudryk provided two goals and seven assists in 11 league matches and made six appearances in the Champions League under De Zerbi in the 2021-22 campaign.
The following season, the winger posted impressive numbers for Shakhtar, scoring 10 goals and providing 18 assists in all competitions, prompting Chelsea to agree an £88.5million package deal for him in January 2023.
Having just returned from a 20-month ban, it remains to be seen whether Mudryk can reignite his career under De Zerbi in N17.
