Eli Junior Kroupi has been linked with a move to Tottenham this summer.

The Frenchman is coming off the back of a debut campaign in the Premier League where he really caught the eye.

He scored 13 goals for the Cherries as they secured European qualification for the first time ever.

That has certainly sparked interest in his signature as a move from the Vitality could be on the cards.

Spurs may look to continue their big spending this summer with a move for the 20-year-old.

The North London club are in the race for Kroupi's signature, but his agent has now addressed a move directly.

What has Eli Junior Kroupi's agent said about a move to Tottenham?

It won't be an easy task to get the young forward away from the south coast after a dreamy first season in England.

The Cherries have been known to drive a hard bargain and that doesn't look likely to be different this summer.

The Spanish outlet reported on Thursday that Kroupi's agent, Moussa Sissoko, explained that no contact had been made with the Catalan giants to this point.

That doesn't appear to have put off interested parties as Diario Sport have now linked Barcelona with a move.

That could see Tottenham lead the race to sign the Frenchman, although Sissoko also confirmed to Sport that a decision is yet to be made over the forward's future.

He said: "We will discuss the future. We see what happens in the near future; at this moment there is no final decision."

How Kroupi could transform Tottenham?

The namesake of the ex-Lilywhites midfielder has pointed towards the fact that a deal isn't close at this stage.

That may be frustrating to hear, but it isn't to say that a deal isn't in the pipeline this summer.

The potential of signing Kroupi should excite Spurs fans, not just because of his 13 Premier League goals.

He also created 22 chances and completed 15 dribbles throughout the season.

That isn't where his game ends as he won possession in the final third 20 times last campaign, proving that he can make a difference when pressing the opposition.

By comparison, Dominic Solanke did that just seven times for the Lilywhites, proving the gulf in intensity when defending from the front.

With that playing a key role in Kroupi's game, he could prove to be the perfect forward in Roberto De Zerbi's new-look Spurs side.
