Despite initially falling through, a deal to sign Axel Disasi on loan from Chelsea for the rest of the season has been resurrected [Matt Law].

Tim Sherwood has urged the N17 club to increase their bid for Marc Geuhi after an initial £70million offer was turned down by Crystal Palace [Ed Aarons].
Speaking live on Sky Sports (3 February, 13:26 pm), the ex-Lilywhites boss said: “I think he will be one of the best centre-backs they can get.

This comes just days after appearing to reject an approach from the Lilywhites but it seems that the Australian head coach has had a telling impact on the deal.
Postecoglou is said to be holding lengthy discussions with the 19-year-old who has played a “key role” in bringing the Frenchman in from Bayern Munich on loan [Julien Laurens].
