Tottenham swap transfer now on cards for Tyler Dibling deal at Southampton
Southampton have “internally discussed” Tyrese Hall as a makeweight in a potential Tottenham deal for Tyler Dibling, according to the Express.
The report from 30 January claims the Premier League’s bottom-dwellers could look to involve the academy starlet if Spurs advance their interest in the 18-year-old.
Ange Postecoglou’s side have held concrete talks with Dibling’s representatives [Florian Plettenberg] ahead of a potential move to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
It states that Hall is first expected to leave the Lilywhites on a loan deal before the 3 February deadline.
Could Tottenham sign Tyler Dibling?
Postecoglou has been seeking reinforcements in attack after losing star man Dominic Solanke to injury and Richarlison’s persistent fitness issues.
The Lilywhites lack depth in attack with summer signing Wilson Odobert missing the majority of the campaign, featuring in just three league matches.
Timo Werner has also failed to cement his status as a solid backup option, with the German notching three assists but zero goals in 17 appearances in the top flight.

The Southampton man has emerged as one of the most promising talents in the division, scoring two goals for the struggling south coast side in 20 league appearances.
The North Londoners face competition from rivals such as Chelsea and German outfits Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund for the young star. [The Guardian]
If Spurs have to give up an academy talent who is yet to make a senior appearance to secure the signature of Dibling, it should be a no-brainer.
