Tottenham ready to cut losses on Reguilon as Sevilla transfer news emerges
Tottenham are preparing for Sergio Reguilon to depart in the summer transfer window.
The Spaniard is out of favour with Ange Postecoglou and has made just three Premier League appearances this season in a disappointing campaign.
The 28-year-old has featured for a total of just 121 minutes in the league and he was not even registered for the Europa League squad, so it makes sense for both parties to move on, given that the Australian does not trust him.

Tottenham set to lose Reguilon with Sevilla interested
Reguilon’s contract at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium expires in the summer, leaving him free to talk to foreign clubs ahead of a free transfer.
A report from Sunday Mirror (page 70, 23 March) claims that Sevilla and former club Real Sociedad are leading the race for his signature as an exit becomes more likely.
It states that Spurs are ready to cut their losses on the former Real Madrid star amid interest from the Spanish clubs, Italy, and the Middle East.

Reguilon exit makes sense for Tottenham
The Spanish full-back was linked with an exit from North London in the winter transfer window but Spurs could not find a buyer and he stayed put.
The six-cap international has failed to meet the lofty expectations that were thrust upon him when he arrived in N17 and has hardly featured since the club failed to secure a deal to allow him to leave.

Reguilon spent last season on loan at Brentford and Manchester United and despite some encouraging displays, has been unable to convince Postecoglou that he deserves to be reintegrated even with a major injury crisis wreaking havoc in defence with the likes of Cristian Romero, Micky van de Ven and Destiny Udogie missing significant time.
There is little chance that he will usurp Udogie or Djed Spence in the Australian’s plans, so an exit makes sense for the player and the club.
There is little sense in the Lilywhites offering Reguilon a new deal considering the limited impact that he has had this season and it is likely that he will make a return to his homeland and forget a miserable time at Spurs.
