Tottenham make Victor Froholdt offer with transfer record now ready
Victor Froholdt looks set to move for a record transfer fee this summer, with Tottenham already making an offer.
Tottenham could be in for a summer of change after reaching the UEFA Europa League final against Manchester United.
Despite the potential to win silverware, Ange Postecoglou could still depart in the coming weeks, with Spurs 17th in the Premier League after a 2-0 defeat to Crystal Palace at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Sunday (11 May).
Regardless of whether Postecoglou remains, Daniel Levy could look to strengthen Spurs this summer, and a talented young prospect he previously missed out on seems the likely place to start.

FC Copenhagen to sell Tottenham target Froholdt for record fee
Froholdt was tracked by several Premier League scouts last year, whose advances were rejected by FC Copenhagen.
The 19-year-old has since become a key player for the Danish team as they enter the final stages of the Superliga Championship play-offs.
2024/25 | Appearances | Goals | Assists | Minutes |
Victor Froholdt | 50 | 6 | 3 | 3.213′ |
According to Danish news outlet Bold (11 May), Copenhagen are ready to sell Froholdt this summer for a record transfer fee.
Tottenham saw an offer for the central midfielder rejected last summer.

Tottenham should make a move for Froholdt
Tottenham’s injury crisis has gone from bad to worse this season, with a scare for Dejan Kulusevski against Palace and James Maddison out for the season.
While Postecoglou’s high-risk, high-reward football does not help, if the manager is set to stay at Spurs next season, squad depth will be key.
Despite primarily playing as a central midfielder, Froholdt can play as a defensive midfielder, right midfielder and on either wing.
This level of versatility is rare to come by in football, and would be crucial for a Spurs side that always seems to be missing a specific profile.
In a Tottenham side whose future belongs to their youth, Froholdt would make a fine addition indeed.
