Tottenham line up move to sign forward after Archie Gray likes his Instagram post

Archie Gray may be involved in Tottenham’s summer business as they line up a move for a forward.

Ange Postecoglou‘s side are in desperate need of reinforcements in the summer after a dismal season which has seen the Europa League become their only chance of silverware.

The likes of Richarlison, Timo Werner and Heung-Min Son have failed to impress and could be set to exit North London in the immediate future.

Tottenham line up another Gray deal

Tottenham signed Gray from Leeds for £40million in 2024 and they could raid the Yorkshire club for his brother.

A report from Give Me Sport (23 April) claims that Spurs are monitoring Harry Gray and have sent scouts to watch the Whites ace in action.

It states that while a move is not a priority, they are considering eventually offering the 16-year-old a chance to link up with his sibling and that their previous relationship with the Elland Road outfit will give them the edge.

The young star made his first appearance for Daniel Farke’s side on Monday (21 April) and his older brother liked a post celebrating the occasion.

Tottenham can secure another promising Gray

The current Lilywhites star has slotted into Premier League football after being thrown into the deep end as a result of an injury crisis.

There will be hopes that his brother can do the same if he makes the move to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

The relationship between the clubs could be a significant factor if there is competition for his services, while Spurs paid a pretty penny for the older sibling, they have also sent Manor Solomon on loan and sold Joe Rodon to the Whites.

Daniel Levy would be doing a solid piece of business if he secured a deal for the promising youngster but the focus must be on players that can have an immediate impact, given the struggles that the N17 outfit have experienced this season.

Failure to secure top talent could leave Spurs in a similar position next year, which would only increase the supporters’ criticism surrounding the future of Levy in the boardroom.
