Saudi clubs favourites to sign Son as Tottenham star makes exit decision
Son Heung-min could trade Tottenham and North London for Saudi Arabia this summer.
Son has been linked with a Tottenham exit after almost a decade in North London.
The South Korean is a Spurs legend, and his decision to remain with the Lilywhites in search of silverware rather than move elsewhere has earned him the unwavering love and devotion of supporters in N17.
However, all good things must come to an end, and there will not be a dry eye in the house when Son eventually departs for good.

Saudi Arabia most likely destination for Son after LAFC snub
As reported by The Mirror (5 July), Son is set to turn down a move to Los Angeles FC this summer but still retains interest from clubs in Saudi Arabia.
The 33-year-old is contractually obligated to play against Newcastle at the Seoul World Cup Stadium on 3 August during Spurs’ pre-season tour.
However, it is understood that Son is open to a departure, and Saudi clubs are favourites to land his signature, with Sky Bet offering odds of 4/9 for the Spurs captain’s next destination to be any Saudi Pro League outfit.
Son’s possible departure has divided Tottenham fans, who are still unsure whether he should remain for another season. There is no doubt that the forward has regressed these past couple of seasons, but he could still be an asset on the bench.
Despite this, Daniel Levy is expected to let Son decide on his future after his dedication to Tottenham.

Son’s departure could be good news for Mikey Moore
Mikey Moore is another player who has been linked to a departure this summer.
There have been concerns that the youngster could see his game time decrease next season, but this could change if Son leaves.
Players | Season | Appearances | Goals | Assists |
Mikey Moore | 2024/25 | 22 | 3 | 4 |
Son Heung-min | 2024/25 | 46 | 11 | 12 |
This could convince the 17-year-old to remain for at least another season, which would give Thomas Frank more options to field on the pitch.
UEFA Champions League qualification has meant that Tottenham could play more than 50 games next season. As a result, Moore’s continuation at the club would provide the Dane with the depth needed to have a successful season.
Therefore, while Spurs supporters may be disappointed to see Son leave, his departure could be important for their continued success.
