Richarlison ‘can pack his bags at Tottenham’ as transfer talks held in France
Richarlison could be the latest player to leave Tottenham after another disappointing season.
The Brazilian has struggled to settle into life at Tottenham after signing from Everton in 2022 as the next ‘one to watch’.
While injuries have been the main culprit, Richarlison has not been able to be consistent in both his performances and numbers when on the pitch.
Now, with the Europa League final to come on Wednesday (21 May), and Richarlison guaranteed to get some minutes, he has an opportunity to put himself in good standing with Tottenham supporters once more.

Tottenham hold talks for Jonathan David
Even with a good performance in the Europa League final, Richarlison’s future at the North London club could be brought into question as Tottenham continue to look for attacking options.
Tottenham have long sought after David, who becomes a free agent this summer.
2024/25 | Appearances | Goals | Assists | Minutes |
Jonathan David | 49 | 25 | 12 | 3.938′ |
The Lille attacker has been linked with a move away from the French capital after a couple of good seasons in Ligue 1, and now, Spurs seem to have acted on their long-held affection.
According to French outlet L’Equipe (17 May), Tottenham are in talks with the French club to sign David this summer.
However, Spurs will have competition for his signature as Aston Villa, and Italian giants Napoli and Juventus are also interested in the striker.

Tottenham need to cash in on Richarlison
Richarlison has started just four Premier League games for Tottenham this season, while he has appeared six times in Spurs’ run to the Europa League final.
That, in a nutshell, is the biggest issue with the Brazilian’s tenure at the North London club.
While at times he has demonstrated good performances on the pitch, he is never on the field of play long enough to show off his best form.
However, in the event of David’s arrival, a potential departure from Tottenham could be on the cards, and a return to his former club has been the most talked-about option.
Everton played their final men’s match at Goodison Park on Sunday (18 May), and in response, Richarlison posted a picture of himself in action at the famous ground on Instagram.
The post, which has garnered thousands of likes already, has fed rumours that a return to the Toffees could be on the table this summer.
If Tottenham wish to curate a worthwhile project for the future, they would do good to shed some of the dead weight in the process – Richarlison being a prime example.
