Pedro Porro had been heavily linked with an exit from Tottenham Hotspur in recent weeks.

Due to the back-to-back relegation scares that the North Londoners have suffered, this summer is already shaping up to be a huge one in terms of recruitment.

Tottenham will be hopeful that the return of those who spent a large portion of the campaign injured will have a positive effect, though the injection of fresh quality is still needed.

Adding more firepower is likely to be a priority for Spurs, especially with Mohammed Kudus not due back until after the season has started and others having struggled with form.

However, the latest reports from Italy are in regard to a right-back addition, and more specifically, that of Bellanova.

A new right-back is far from a neccesity, though that could change if Porro moves on.

The Spaniard has been linked heavily with a departure, though only time will tell if that comes to fruition.

But if so, Spurs may have already found their replacement, with a report from Tutto Mercato stating that they hold an interest in signing Atalanta defender Bellanova.

Fulham and Nottingham Forest are the other two sides said to be keeping tabs on his situation from a Premier League perspective, while AC Milan have also been mooted with an interest.

A move to Spurs is only likely if he were to be given assurances over gametime, which, in turn, is only likely if Porro departs the club this summer.

How much would Tottenham have to pay for Bellanova?

As per Transfermarkt, Bellanova has a value in the region of £13million, which is believed to be similar to the fee that Atalanta would require to sanction his exit.

The 26-year-old still has three years left on his contract, meaning that they will be under no immediate pressure to sell for less than their asking price.

However, having started just 15 times for Atalanta in the Serie A last season, Tottenham may be able to lower the price if the player shows an interest in making the move to North London.
